Akbank: First Bank to Integrate Directly with Binance

Binance, the leading cryptocurrency exchange by trading volume today announces the first bank channel integration at Binance Global.

Yes, you heard it right Akbank has integrated directly with Binance so that the users will be able to instantly deposit and withdraw Turkish Lira (TRY). This feature can be availed via desktop and the iOS App.

However, CZ (Changpeng Zhao), Binance CEO also tweets by saying that “You asked for it, we #buidl.”

“As part of our mission to continue working on increasing the freedom of money worldwide and notably in a country that is fast-adopting digital assets, we are expanding the available options to lower the barrier to entry,” said CZ.

Akbank is one of the largest banks in Turkey, founded in 1948. Akbank also ranked as “The Most Valuable Banking Brand in Turkey” according to the “Brand Finance – Banking 500, 2018”.
