Hypernative, the leading provider of real-time threat prevention in the Web3 ecosystem, today announced the closing of a $40 million Series B funding round. The round was co-led by prominent cybersecurity investors Ten Eleven Ventures and Ballistic Ventures, with additional participation from StepStone Group, boldstart ventures, and IBI Tech Fund.
In 2024 alone, Hypernative identified over $2.2 billion in losses due to hacks, exploits, phishing attacks, and fraud—marking a 22% increase from the previous year. The February 2025 Bybit hack, which resulted in $1.4 billion in stolen assets, exemplifies the scale and urgency of the threat landscape. With such incidents on the rise, the industry is bracing for yet another record-breaking year of security breaches.
Hypernative plans to use the newly raised capital to enhance and broaden its platform, with a sharp focus on fraud prevention and wallet-level transaction protection. These additions are part of the company’s mission to build a comprehensive, end-to-end security solution for the Web3 ecosystem.
At the heart of Hypernative’s platform is its AI-powered, real-time threat detection engine. By leveraging artificial intelligence, the system monitors for anomalies and suspicious behaviors across blockchain networks, enabling instant responses to potential attacks. This proactive approach has helped over 200 clients—including major wallets, exchanges, and payment providers—safeguard more than $100 billion in digital assets.
“Our platform continues to evolve with integrations across key segments of the Web3 infrastructure,” said Gal Sagie, Co-founder and CEO of Hypernative. “Web3 is at an inflection point: clear regulation is finally emerging, and institutional adoption is accelerating, led by stablecoins and tokenized assets. But security remains the biggest blocker to mass adoption—and Hypernative is on a mission to close that gap.”
Investors echoed this sentiment, emphasizing the vital role of security in advancing Web3.
“As leading cybersecurity investors, Ten Eleven recognizes how critical a robust security layer is to furthering adoption of Web3 technologies,” said Mark Hatfield, Co-founder and General Partner of Ten Eleven Ventures. “Hypernative’s cohesive approach to real-time threat detection and response positions it as a foundational player in the future of decentralized ecosystems.”
Barmak Meftah, Co-founder and General Partner at Ballistic Ventures, added, “Hypernative is tackling the single greatest barrier to Web3’s mainstream future: trust. As attacks grow more sophisticated, the need for proactive, real-time security has never been more urgent. What Gal and the Hypernative team have built is not just innovative—it’s foundational to the next era of the internet.”
With this latest funding and a rapidly expanding customer base, Hypernative is poised to lead the charge in securing Web3’s infrastructure, paving the way for broader adoption and a safer decentralized future.
