“Director, Product Management – Crypto Currency/ Wallets, Director, Product Development & Innovation – Blockchain Solutions Architect, and VP, Product Management – Blockchain/Crypto.”
According to the job listing, two of the new roles the future director of product management for cryptocurrency/wallets and future VP of product management for blockchain/crypto will lead a team that will develop blockchain-based solutions that include wallets.
The overview of the job listing says that “The Director, Cryptocoin/Wallet Product Management will use his / her payment and crypto-currency expertise in identifying new opportunities, and work with a cross-functional team comprising of Franchise, Compliance, Regulation, Products, Labs, Regions and Technology to develop new products and solutions. He / She will be a “go-to” person for Crypto currency wallets and crypto-currencies for education, thought leadership, and product roadmap knowledge.”
Mastercard is also one of the partners of the Libra Association in Facebook’s stablecoin project Libra.
Last week Nexo which is an instant crypto loan firm also revealed that it will be launching Mastercard-branded cryptocurrency credit card.
