$15 Million Liquidated in 15 Minutes after Bitcoin Price Rejection from $35,500

Bitcoin, the largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization, drops around $1150 after reaching a 24h high of $35,937. According to CoinMarketCap data, the 24h high and low for BTC price is $35,937 and $34,089 respectively.

As the Bitcoin price got a rejection from $35,500 which resulted in huge liquidations of long positions. According to the data from bybt, which shows that around $14.95 million long positions got liquidated when the BTC price fall from $35293 to $34960 in just 15 minutes.

The data shows that around $8.62 million of long liquidated on Bybit. Huobi and OKEx followed the same with long liquidations of $2.39 million and $2.18 million respectively.

The BTC price at press time is $34,368 with a market cap of $644,470,673,975 as per CoinMarketCap. The dominance of Bitcoin is 44.8% while that of Ethereum is 18.5%.
