Google updates its ad policy for Crypto Exchanges and Wallets in the US

Google, updates its financial products and services policy for ads related to crypto exchanges and wallets.

Google said that “[b]eginning August 3, advertisers offering Cryptocurrency Exchanges and Wallets targeting the United States may advertise those products and services when they meet the following requirements and are certified by Google.”

“Beginning August 3, advertisers offering Cryptocurrency Exchanges and Wallets targeting the United States may advertise those products and services when they meet the following requirements and are certified by Google.”

However, there is still a certain category of crypto ads that will still be not allowed like ads for initial coin offerings, DeFi trading protocols, or otherwise promoting the purchase, sale, or trade of cryptocurrencies or related products.

Also, ads related to Cryptocurrency trading signals, cryptocurrency investment advice, aggregators or affiliate sites containing related content or broker reviews are not allowed.
